Big Mac Cheeseburger Bombs combine the iconic flavors of a Big Mac in a fun, portable form. Savory beef, melted cheese, pickles, and a signature sauce are wrapped in golden, flaky dough, making them the perfect bite-sized snack for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup diced dill pickles

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup American cheese, cubed

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Sesame seeds (optional)

Big Mac-style sauce or Thousand Island dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the beef mixture cool for a few minutes.
  4. Once the beef has cooled slightly, add the diced dill pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and cubed American cheese. Stir to combine.
  5. Roll out the crescent roll dough (or puff pastry) on a clean surface and separate it into individual triangles (for crescent rolls) or rectangles (for puff pastry).
  6. Spoon a generous amount of the beef and cheese mixture onto the center of each dough piece.
  7. Carefully fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges together to seal it completely, forming a bomb shape.
  8. Place each bomb on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each bomb with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving with Big Mac-style sauce or Thousand Island dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • These cheeseburger bombs are perfect for customizing. Add jalapeños, onions, or any of your favorite toppings for an extra flavor boost.
  • If you're not a fan of pickles, try replacing them with relish or chopped tomatoes.
  • You can freeze the unbaked bombs for later. Just bake directly from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
  • For a spicier version, add hot sauce, jalapeños, or red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
  • To ensure crispy dough, drain any excess fat from the beef to prevent sogginess.
